Based on real experiences during time living in a converted warehouse in Hackney Wick. London. After seven years trawling the growing travesty of the East London hipster invasion Dan was implored to place his tongue firmly in his cheek and quaff this down on paper. Originally broadcast for Resonance FM on Sonic Darts, a monthly radio show produced by London-based sound art collective Gwaith Swn. The piece is the first of an ongoing series entitled Fictional Frequencies.



It is best experienced on headphones with a micro-brewed beer and some time to waste.



Dan Linn-Pearl is Welsh-born artists working in sound and moving image. He makes work for installation, performs improvisation and produces film and radio under the name Deaf Pictures.
